Tu-154 explodes, burns on taxiway :(

I'm not entirely sure I buy this story. At taxi power a turbine wheel has a lot of kinetic energy if it should happen to disintegrate, but it doesn't have enough energy to cause the kind of damage the pictures are showing. Add to that the (un)likelihood of a turbine wheel disintegrating at taxi RPM instead of full flight RPM on the previous landing....

Call me a crazy conspiracy nut, but this just doesn't smell right.

EDIT: OK, maybe not - I found the actual video online that was shot by cellphone of the accident, as versus the aftermath pictures I had seen the first time. The initial structural damage was minimal and it appears fire was the main culprit, contrary to early reports.

Bet it's the APU again. On 154 the APU inlet is in the S-intake of engine #2. If its door gets wedged open for any reason, the flow to engine #2 makes APU spool up and explode, which then destroys engine #2 which is located in close proximity. It's not the first time this happened and it really sucks when occurs in flight.
