Tsunami warnings in Hawaii

We've been watching the news about the tsunami warnings in Hawaii. Tom's son Jim (who posts here from time to time ) lives on Oahu, on higher ground.

Are any of our forum members out visiting Hawaii right now?

I've been watching it unfold for the last hour and it seems more mild than they thought it might be...almost anti-climatic, so far, anyway.

My uncle lives a block from Hilo bay. Looks like he lucked out.

In laws are at their 'winter' home in the hills above Kona. Guess they don't have much to worry about.
