TSA does it again

I don't know...shouldn't some doors be unlocked? I thinking fire escapes here. I f there is a fire in the terminal, I don't want to wait until someone unlocks the door to the restricted area to escape the flames.

It may well be a door that should have been locked, but I didn't read that in the linked article. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt unless more info comes to light.

The TSA deserves blame for this one, but not for the door. They really didn't need to evacuate the terminal and rescreen everyone. The guy had just gotten off a flight and had already been screened. I think the door was already in the secure area.

The more the TSA cries wolf and inconveniences many, the more people will hate them. Of course, they try and blame someone else for their own shortcomings. It's like stopping all traffic in a city because someone ran a red light clear across town.
