Trouble with apostophe

Every time I try to put an apostorphy in text as in between we and ll for we will, a find box comes up on the bottom of the screen and interupts the post. What is up?

It happens to me sometimes too. I used to have a workaround, but I don't remember what it was. Its a bug in Firefox, thats a certainty.

OOh - I forgot, there's a way to turn it off. It is supposed to automatically turn off in text boxes, but there's an option for using ' as a quick find option....look in the preferences (my laptop doesn't have Firefox on it)

I'm using Firefox version 1.5.0.4 on this pc and the apostrophe's behavior is as expected for me.

Flush your cache and try again - you probably have some older javascript still resident.
