These things are great to have in the cockpit for battery backup for iPad, phone, Stratus, elf, etc.

Love that website.

I've picked up quite a few things off there. This would be nice, but it just don't need it at the moment.

one thing I like about this device is that there is digital display of remaining battery power.

Thanks! I've been meaning to get one of these high capacity ones for awhile. This deal was too good to pass up!

The Gorilla line seems to be pretty good, as does the Anker line. There are some really crappy external batteries out there, in terms of battery life, charge rate, and build/safety quality. I have one of these and it works extremely well.

I bought that last year from Woot and it is a great product.

At the AOPA summit, I purchased a battery brick and made use of it a few times in the aircraft.

Good: It did a good job of providing power.

Bad: It wasn't properly RF shielded and provided enough RF energy to break squelch on the GNS480 and cause a static hiss. I'm still moving it around the cabin during different flights to find the right spot for it. Not found one yet.
