Looking at the Concorde RG-35AXC(440CCA) or the RG-35A(390CCA). Is there any reason not to go with the 35AXC? It slightly weights more by 4lbs and the form factor is the same size. Figured more CCA is better...

I have owned both. The AXC gives a bit more cranking power in colder climates. If you do winter flying or want a little more reserve (for night flying), I would go with the AXC.

Get the Concorde.

Guy who owned my plane before me replaced the battery shortly before I bought it, got the old school chit battery for like a $50 "savings" :mad2:

Go with the strongest gell cell that is approved for your aircraft. I like the Concorde batteries.seem to outlast the gills by a bunch.
