I landed the 172 today with a direct 10 knot crosswind and did not get blown off the runway.

I had a flight with some IMC yesterday. But I’m rated and it wasn’t a big deal and was only for .3-4 hours.

I had a vacuum failure on an approach to 500' ceilings.

    But it was in XPlane.

Because the bird was faster than your plane, or just repelled by your paint job? :)

I replaced the elements in my water heater. Then the shutoff valve broke when I went to turn the water back on. So, I went riding my new motorcycle instead of fixing it.

I flew in Las Vegas class Bravo this weekend and all the controllers were super nice and accommodating and gave me Bravo clearances without me even asking.

I had a trailer slip off the ball hitch a couple days ago. It scratched the bumper a little but not much.

My plane got dusty sitting two days on the ramp in Colorado, where it was collecting ash from forest fires. So I flew it home and washed it.

True story. I made a chicken dinner last week. It was terrible. How terrible was it?

My chicken was so bad rubber chickens were laughing at it.

My chicken was so tough the Rocky statue on the art museum steps said "I'm otta here."

My chicken was so bad the fox was guarding the hen house so I couldn't ruin any more meals

And what about those cooking shows. Are they really a contest. I think not.

Well Bill since you just told me my six obscure and incongruent ingredients, two of which are deadly if misused, I'm going to make a [insert Italian word] as well as a [insert Japanese word] topped with a [insert Swahili word]. Of course I thought of all this in the last 39 seconds and it will be ready to eat in 5 minutes.

eman was on short final, just about over the fence, when he saw one of those little gray birds that u see on the golf course flying at like 2”AGL. it happened fast, bird was flying from my left to right and all I could think was “this is about to get messy” cause I thought for sure he was gonna be bird prop salad.....in my mind I even heard a ‘ting’ and thought maybe he hit the gear or something....did a pretty thorough check back in the hangar but couldn’t find any bird splatter anywhere.
