The Motts Military Museum

Got kicked out of the house today so Mrs. Steingar could have friends over. Pal picked me up, and after lunch we went to the Motts Military Museum. I had never heard of it, and he only because he had an obscure relative who worked there. Great little place with lots of interesting artifacts. I'm not such a big fan of militaria, but this was really cool. A few vehicles out the back, but tons of uniforms, weapons, and personal things used by American soldiers throughout history. If you happen to be in the area, might make for a fun and interesting stop. Nearest airport is Rickenbacker (LCK).

We went to the Motts Museum when we were in town for the 99's Sectional meeting a few months back. It was pretty interesting, and we had (IIRC) the directory of the museum, Mr Mott (the founder's son) leading us on the tour.
