If when looking at image #3 you look at extreme left, there is a tiny burial plot that goes back a couple hundred years. The newest of the less than dozen stones is from where "A. W." (artist Andrew Wyeth) is "watching the House ."
 
"Geraniums" is a title of one of Andy's many paintings done inside the House. It's only appropriate that Farnsworth Museum, owner of the property, places the iconic plant in a prominent spot. In the first image, if one looks closely at the dormer window at the building's left, it figured in another of the famous paintings. "Wind From the Sea" was painted from an inside perspective. Looking out the window, down the gravel road toward the St. George River, he captured the intricate detail of the lace curtains, the "Wind From the Sea" billowing them inward.
