The very last Fall Aviation Migration to Lee's Bottom Flying Field, along the Ohio River near Hanover, Indiana, is this coming weekend.

If you've ever said, "Someday I'm going to make the Lee Bottom Fly-In, you better make plans to do it this year. This will be the last year for this annual fall fly-in. Putting on such a big event has become too much of a burden for the family that puts it on, on their private 4000x100 grass airstrip every fall. The same affliction that affects the rest of GA is hitting the owners of this fine field, as well.

The owner explains why this will be the last Fly-in, here:

This weekend I have a conflicting work schedule, but I intend to make it down for at Least an hour or two if the weather permits, and spend a couple of bucks while I'm there.

I've been to a sinful Sunday but never the fly-in. I might just have to sneak over there if I have the time. It's only a little over an hour for me.
