I'm happy to see she'll be preserved for future generations to see. The bringing home of troops held as prisoners of war has to be the most honorable use of any vessel in our fleet, both by sea and by air.

Here it is on display at the USAF Museum in Dayton, last April. It underwent the C-141B stretch modification after it served as the Hanoi Taxi.

Lordy, lordy, I still remember, like it was yesterday, when the POW were repatriated. It was a very big day around our house.
