The CAF Centex wing FINALLY got the TC-45!

This one is very exciting for me for a few reasons;

1) I'm a huge Beech 18 fan because when I was a small child, my grandmother gave me a little toy of that aircraft that she so proudly flew. I carried it with me everywhere. When I dream about airplanes, that's the one I see.

2) This beauty was acquired by my local CAF wing here and I feel some kinship with it now.

3) I believe that aviation history is a very fragile thing, and want to do whatever I can to help save these wonderful flying relics.


If that C-47 can raise nearly 300k, I'm sure this baby can get some love!

haha this reminds me of my old man, who has always called it the "Secret Navy Bomber".....I guess that is what they called when they flew it in flight school anyway.
