As many of you know I took over a C-150 repair after the owner thought he was getting screwed by his A&P-IA. after paying over $3100 in labor, he was forced to move the aircraft from one hangar to another and finish the project there.
I entered the project with the engine in parts all over the hangar floor, the aircraft with the fire wall removed and the owner frustrated.
I reassembled the engine after much parts hunting by the owner, and replacement of parts that could not be found, or appliances that were no longer usable.
Saturday we started a 4 day work period to get the firewall back in, and the engine on and run. and after 40 hours we heard it run, but the owner has a bunch of stuff they took apart to reassemble. I'll get back to it when he says it is ready to inspect for the annual.
