First of all, I want to  thank the great PoA community  for helping us out with Takeoff Aviation Weather for iPhone, iPad and Android. Through your great feedback (http://www.pilotsofamerica.com/forum/showthread.php?t=55773), we have made what we think is the absolute best aviation weather app available.

For some background, Takeoff provides personalized aviation weather in an easy to consume visual way, color-coded warnings and information based on your personal minimums. Give it a shot and let me know what you think!

Check out the page with more screenshots and some quick tutorial videos at TakeoffAviationWeather.com!

Thanks again PoA (and especially Adam Zucker),
Derek

Congrats! It's a great app, and it's been fun to be along for the ride during the development!

Thanks for the feedback along the way, and the journey isn't over! We are very open for feedback and suggestions to keep making the app better.

Please help us spread the word!

Also, if you are a user of Takeoff, please leave us a review! As a tiny development team, it really helps us out. :D

What is the difference between the iPhone and iPad versions and why the difference in cost?

What is the difference between the iPhone and iPad versions and why the difference in cost?

The iPad version was redesigned and optimized for the iPad with a new split view, along with high res retina assets. Significant testing effort is required to ensure both versions are optimized for their devices.

Thanks for all the great feedback via PM. We made a few changes thanks to members like you:
- Much improved routes--you will see more airports, and more accurate ordering, no update needed!
- The Android version showed ceiling in meters instead of feet when Metric mode was on, now just shows feet

Keep it coming, and thank you!
