Taylorcraft down California

The FAA seems to have the same skepticism as the comment writers and internet pundits.

 

I would like to think that he is just full of himself and spouting words just to get clicks, but I have known one too many folks that took the permanent solution to a temporary problem.

 

I would be willing to bet anything he says is a lie. But I hope the FAA takes it seriously just to pull his medical. I give you props for getting that far into the video though

 

His medical has already been pulled.

 

To be honest, I was just skipping through and just by luck I hit the mention of suicide part.

 

Still impressed. I find anyone that talks about themselves that much insufferable.

 

It's tough when a man lies this much as there is no way to know what to believe. Seems he'll do anything for attention and this may be it again. I believe he needs to be somewhere that he can get some professional help.

It has been said that the worst part of being a liar is not that no one will believe you but that you can believe no one else.

 

Fwiw, that video was out 7 months before he jumped out of a plane

I'm thinking that before the Internet, people like this used to hang out in low end bars, and tell everyone that would listen how many great things they used to do. Things that never happened. The small town drunk that was king of the world in their own mind. Now people like that have followers, and are making money on it, rather than bumming beers off people that don't know about them yet.

Now he's got a new video out of him mailing in his certificate and begging for money (for legal fees).

And whining at "haters".

What a douche.

 

The level of narcissism the guy displays is epic. How can people be ignorant enough to watch his videos. No aviation knowledge required to see through his bs. I don’t understand people.

 

At least we know he has a cool wallet to keep that in

I found it kind of endearing that he pronounced the guy's name "Trevor Yacob" at least half the time.

 

To be fair, he had to cut that part out when a lot of people complained to the wallet company.

 

He made a plug about having more room in his ridge now that he sent his cert back.

 

Impressed the media called it a certificate and not a license

 

Only because they read the official announcement.

 

So, how long before the FED’s arrest him for crashing his plane on federal land. I’m sure there are environmental issues among other laws broken.

 

Interesting there is no attempt to defend or explain actions. Wonder how deep the pockets are for any legal battle.

Why was it necessary for him to fly somewhere to mail his certificate? Wasn't there a FedEx/ups office close to his house?

 

He needed to show how he could be responsible and safe by flying with the parachute he intended to wear. Unfortunately he forgot...

 

Oh, he probably had his driver’s license revoked somewhere along the way, too.

he's immature and foolish. and it's dangerous because he doesn't realize it

 

There was another YouTuber who destroyed a Taylorcraft in his daddy's cornfield for views. I couldn't remember the name of his channel but if you search for "inbred hillbilly with Taylorcraft" on YT it will be the first hit that shows up. I think him and Trev are buds and both instrumental in the impending downfall of YouTube as a social media platform.

 

That video seems to be missing, shockingly.

 

3.5 million views. A half dozen more won't make a difference...

 

I knew about this one, the title isn't what I was expecting.
