I hope she recovers quickly.
She has gull wing doors like us. I have red LED's/magnetic switches warning us if a door is not closed. I think I probably check my doors at least 4 times before every takeoff. My doors will depart at 80-90 kts in climb out. Yes, I would have preferred Cirri designed forward hinges. Of course you can easily get rid of them if you are going down in water, possibly helping with egress. I am always reminding myself to "Fly The Plane" no matter what happens.
