TAA aircraft with mixed stuff

I know it doesn’t matter much but Garmin refers to the GTN650 and 750 as MFDs.

Interesting. I just checked the Pilot’s Guide for a GTN650 and it called it a navigator. Searching the PDF, it didn’t use the abbreviation MFD anywhere in 610 pages, except once when referring syncing to an external device.

Just the same, I don’t doubt they might call it an MFD elsewhere. And with its moving map and its coupling to an autopilot, it might meet the FAA requirements for an MFD for a TAA.
