Wow, that's cool. First (and only) sonic boom I ever heard was in the Swiss Alps. 2 F18s, probably en-route to/from that bombing range.

That appears to be just outside of Interlaken. There are a couple of (military) airstrips there - including one where they have to shut down the main road for aircraft to taxi.....
