It's not quite what you think, given it's name... but there are pilots here that would like it nonetheless, or maybe because of it:

They say it was "inspired design-wise by the classic Wright Brothers biplane", but I don't see any similarities...
 
Supposedly the color resembles the canvas on old fabric covered aircraft like the Wright Flyer but I thought the canvas was more of a light tan, not gold. Also, there is no wind protection "just like an open cockpit biplane." I could be wrong, but most biplanes I've been in had at least a shield in front of it like most motorcycles.

I don't see a resemblance.
 
Having worked for the Japanese for decades (and even some time with Suzuki) I can assure you their imagination is quite remarkable.:)
