I hadn't been into Sulphur Creek for a few years, as it had changed hands and I had heard that it wasn't open to the public. I heard different and so this past summer I flew a couple of my friends in for breakfast. The people that have it now are great and made us feel wanted and comfortable.

This is an older video I took in about 2000. I was flying Gail S. Halvorsen and his wife Lorain into the ranch on this particular flight. He had my camera in his hands and was doing the commentary. This is an easy place to land but it is one that you should get on the ground on your first pass and not try a go around. Land up stream and take off down. It is a little over 5800 ft at the strip. gravel and grass. It is about 30 ft wide.

I would recommend you give Sulphur Creek a try.
