I have been reading about thunderstorms, LLWS, microbursts etc now that the season is upon us and we are into our routine of dodging of the angry behemoths.
I am reading about the "rear inflow jet", but it never says if the jet has anything to do with the jet stream, or at least, how high the rij arrives from. Any clues? Could not find.
Anyone else have interest in things like the Nimrod Project or the CLAWS Project?
(Anyone else waste their evenings on such things?)
