I’m looking to buy steel angles in the St Louis MO area. If you know of one, please advise. The shipping cost for raw material was too much.
…trying to build my own metal brake. Thanks !

Thanks for the tip. I went to Metal Supermarket today. Saved a few hundred dollars in shipping cost.

Damn. One of my vendors out of Rockford will ship direct via their tractor trailer. Have had a few conversations about that with them and how it undercuts a much larger client (me) and how it really wastes their truck drivers time with such a piddly order.

Curious what you got to compare what I'd charge vs what you got.

I have a 12' long 175 ton press brake in shop. Weighs 26,000 lbs. I think it'll be a little overkill when I start building.

I bought three steel angles; 1/4 thick, 3 in x 3 in x 6ft. $143.00. One steel square tube; 1.25" square, .120 thk, 6 ft long, $37.00
