State of Illinois announces $9mil of airport improvements

Almost all of this is for GA only airports.

This was announced yesterday by the governor.

Never gonna happen. Wishing for it is a waste of time.

In the mean time, real airports in Illinois, used by real GA pilots, will get some much needed attention. These are government owned, public airport, so using tax dollars is a appropriate. I swear pilots tend to be the most miserable bunch of people next to old ladies at bingo matches. Nothing is ever good enough for them and nothing makes them happy.

In Missouri, that'd probably be enough for 18 to 20 airport improvement projects.

In Illinois, one or two plus kickbacks seems plausible.
