Start IFR training while waiting on medical / PPL

    Is it possible to start dual ifr training while awaiting ppl medical ? As in finished everything for ppl but need to get SI finished before check ride (and can no longer solo because of it).

    Is it possible to start doing some dual ifr training while waiting for the SI stuff to come back ?

    Yep, that is allowed. You need your medical to act as PIC or a required crew member.
