St Piere and Miquelon

I just became aware of these two islands which are apparently part of France, but are about 20 miles off the coast of Newfoundland! It would be quite something to "fly to France"! Does anyone know anything about flying there? There is at least one airport with scheduled service, but I am wondering about flying one's own plane there.

There are POAers who sure do. Ted and Laurie DuPuis were the most recent posters there. They flew there GA from St. John's on their honeymoon. One other POAer flew there from the Midwest several years ago I want to say it was Barry but can't recall.
