Hey all,
I will be starting flight training soon, and have done pretty thorough research on SSRIs. I have now been off of them for >90 days, and I was only on them for about 2 months. I had my doctor notate my medical file each step of the way (weaning, discontinuance, 90 day mark), and will have a letter in hand with a favorable review of symptoms. My question is: per the decision path 1, my AME should be able to issue my 1st class, and the FAA shouldn’t really interfere, per se, correct? Also, this type should be able to go through a regular AME, correct? For reference, I have not had any of the disqualifiers (suicidal thoughts, two at once, etc.) and am otherwise healthy.
