Who here has done it? I take it ride hailing isn’t reliably available?
Rental cars? Bus?

I’ve taken the TART bus from truckee to Northstar, and it’s been a breeze- worked well. Rental cars readily available there too, it seems.
Are Uber/Lyft also an option?

While I’m asking, what is the insider info on getting from Mammoth Lakes airport (KMMH) to the mountain?

For KMMH to town…I’ve researched it several times and this is what I’ve found: No Uber/Lyft. Taxis are stupidly overpriced for the short ride. Car rentals. Some hotels have shuttles but they charge for the service. None of the bus services stop there which is a shame.

Thx, HL

I am based at KTVL. You will have no problem getting an uber to get to heavenly. Should be around 30 bucks to the cal base lodge. There are taxis too but they typically charge double.
