Some really neat NASA pix

wow - they are just crystal clear without that pesky air getting in the way!

The hurricane looks so peaceful from up there. What a difference!

Awesome pictures, thank you!

Wow.

What is the land mass to the left of the space station in the second picture?

Thank you for posting that link.

I've been disgusted with the entire shuttle program for a long time. The constant theme of 200 pictures of a scratched tile and the "whew we barely survived another one" mentality has gotten to me. You almost never hear anything spectacularly good coming from the program anymore.

These pictures are what it's really all about.

Lookin' good... the Orbiters may be near retirement, but meanwhile they're making all the difference in getting the ISS finished. Almost too ambitious a spacecraft/aircraft for its own good, but what an amazing machine!!

And I can't get enough pictures from space: telescope imagery, low-res snaps of the surface of Titan, close-ups of Martian rocks... or our own little blue marble, seen from the coolest vantage point possible. :)

As Sun Ra said: "Space is the Place". B)

Nice, thanks for posting.
I wonder if our space shuttles can hang in there long enough to complete their projects. The successor to the Hubble telescope is my favorite.
