Good morning,

I had some Airbus ND questions after watching a small documentary on a flight between Shanghai to Zurich.

1) ND displays green dashes (ie. managed route) when the plane is in HDG.
But in that video, FMA displays NAV but on the ND, we can still see green dashes and a straight green line (track) as If the plane was in HDG. Why?

2) Same case as before:
- NAV engaged on FMA
- A green line pointing to 287°
- A dashed green line parallel to the green line pointing to 286°
And another dashed line which is crossing the screen... (I am not sure if it is blue or green but I think it's green). What is the last dashed line??
PS: The ND is in arc mode.
What is the difference between the dashed line?

3) We can also read on the left of ND:
MORA
162
It's in magenta. What does it mean?

3) Finally, on PFD, between FD bars (pitch/bank) there is a small yellow circle (or square?). What does that mean?

Thanks!

PS: Sorry, I don't have the photos...

Hi! Some new questions on PFD:

When FD is OFF, the heading pointer also appears on horizon line.
The scale is of 10°.

Let's say that I am at 270° and I enter 320°. How does the pointer appear (ie. The scale is too small). Does 320° appear between the horizon line and altitude tape in blue till I reach 295°? Does the pointer only 'activate' when I am +/-25° from selected altitude?

I am talking about the pointer on horizon line (PFD). I am NOT talking about the pointer on HDG scale.

Thanks!
