Ran across this video of an ultra light glider. Very cool. Its billed as a bird strike but as you can see its not really a strike the second video explains a lot about the craft.

I like in the first video the comments at the bottom where a poster asks the pilot what he was doing with his left hand, and the pilot responds " Holding On"

Raptor attack aside, I'd fly the thing after proper training, and getting my glider endorsement.

Can't argue the training thing, but that particular model is an ultralight. No endorsement/ticket needed.


I actually have the plans downloaded for that thing. Might build it if I ever get a place to build it.
