Part 1. Tango wireless headsets

So who here purchased an Tango wireless headset when they were released months ago and still uses it ? Was it a good idea poorly executed ?

I use mine every flight. perfect? no. happy with the purchase? absolutely. anr = good. wireless = good. if they aren't seated perfectly over your ears you can get some wobbly, but I understand this goes with most ANR headsets (the tangos were my first ANR). you do have to develop a 'routine' that you wouldn't use with other headsets, mostly around charging them, otherwise I think they are solid and I love the wirelessness of them. I'd be surprised if they didn't have a setup at the 'kosh.

I will say that I also tried the zulu2's and those are also awesome.

Wow only 1 person. I am still very much on the fence with these, the plus is no wires, the negatives are more batteries to worry about. It the sound quality is nothing special, my money is probably best invested elsewhere

who was one of the first, if not THE first, to point out the headset battery door/charging port?

<=== this fat kid in a laundry basket airplane, that's who!
