The MSNBC news story says that no one saw Ryan after 3pm Friday . . . and that they drove him to an airport in Illinois and then he flew to Elizabeth City NC where he was sequestered overnight Friday . .. .

A little sleuthing uncovers that he apparently made the trip from Waukegan to Elizabeth City in a Hawker Jet -

its the only IFR flight into ECG that matches the story unless they blocked the tail number of the flight - but - the timing seems to work - takes about 1:45 to drive from JVL to UGN and if he was not seen after 3pm and this above flight departed about 4:40 local . . . its not like he arrived at UGN and did anything other than simply walk onto the waiting airplane . .
So while it is just harmless fun - and it killed a few minutes.
