Sinus Polyps.

A friend has been told by his doctor he has sinus Polyps. Not severe but they are there.
He said they don't bother him and may have occassional congestion but it clears up. Will something like this cause problems during his medical renewal?

Take care of them. Once I was climbing out, been having some sinus problems. Heard a loud squeal, thought something wrong with the airplane or the tach, maybe a piece of paper stuck in the door. Discovered it was coming from..me. A polyp was almost obstructing a passage, and air was escaping as I climbed. Stop climb, noise stopped, tried it a few times to confirm. Could control slightly by pinching nose etc. Total blockage would have been pretty bad-news.

So I did a google search of for chronic sinusitis.

That is severe and I do think that might be the case.
