I flew in a friends Kolb the other day and I was very impressed with this intercom.

My SportStar has a Sigtronics unit fitted to and I was wondering if anyone has any experience of upgrading such a unit?

Also can the PS Enginerring be mounted vertically?

Hi Bachman, I’m not sure if you would need to go to the PM1200, no offense but I don’t think your airplane is loud enough to go with this system. The PM1200 is famous with open cockpit and warbirds.

you should go to your owner’s forum and ask what intercom they are using. I’m pretty sure some will recommend the PM1000II

But if more recommend then you could look at the PM1200

Thanks for your interest in our intercoms

I have a never installed PS Engineering PM 2000 intercom with the wiring harness for a 4-place plane. PM me if you are interested. This can be mounted vertically or horizontally.

Hi Kshaw, the PM2000 was discontinued in 1998, I believe Bathman is referring to the PM1200 which is a current product of ours that is a two-place intercom designed specifically for open cockpit and warbird aircraft (SUPER LOUD)
