One of the Discovery shows was stating there was one left and owned by a guy who is buddies with Dick Rutan. Sounds like someone got something wrong.

According to the FAA registration, there are only 5 in private ownership (there had been a total of 53). The other 6 belong to the manufacturer (Raytheon) who bought Beech. Didn't Raytheon buy back all the others as they would no longer be supporting them via parts and such? And there were a couple ( maybe 5?) of holdouts who did not want to sell back to Raytheon?
