(For general information, Old Orchard Beach population increases hugely during the summer -- many times its year-round resident total. Thank you, Canada. "OOB" has long been "The Riviera" -- in so many words -- for generations of our neighbors to the North, some who come for a week or three, many for the entire summer.)

Incidentally, the Biddeford Airport has the same 25/7 runway alignment as my Wiscasset base; hence, is subject to the same crosswind problems.

My family and I camped at OOB for many summers before we lost our minds and moved away from NH. Best beach in the North East. COLD water.
