One who misses Daytona!
On the sectional along the coast of Texas.
Matagorda is just south of Galveston. If you look at Palacious (PSX) there is a symbol at 5 o'clock on the island. Is that a closed airport/runway?

I held down on it but it didn't show any info. Is there a listing of closed airports?

That's the symbol for closed airport. - look at the legend in the top left corner of the chart.

Google maps shows that the runway was still there recently and you can just make out the X on one end of it.

Trying to hold down on a point on a sectional typically results in a hole in the paper (at least for me)

I do wish Foreflight had the legend somewhere. I'm pretty good with the symbols but I don't have them all memorized. The other day while flying I went over an unconfirmed airport- which I can confirm certainly looks like an airport, and saw the symbol for what I later confirmed by looking at the legend on my paper copy, was the symbol for an unconfirmed airport. However, while using Foreflight I could not figure out the symbol at all.

Is the legend somewhere in Foreflight?

Yes, in Foreflight, navigate to Documents (tap Documents), tap Catalog button, then select the FAA tab. Scroll down a ways and you will see VFR Chart Legend.. That's what you want.
