Scott Carpenter Mercury Astronaut Flew West

Godspeed, Scott Carpenter.

I was a 6 yr old kid watching everything the Mercury 7 did.
 
Saw this a little earlier in the news, another hero of mine heads west, bummer.

Godspeed Mr Carpenter. Like the previous poster men like this I looked up to.

Our society could do with more heros and innovators like this. Instead we get rappers and whores.
