In my spare time between my college classes, I decided to volunteer at the museum to help them restore several aircraft (and feed my airplane addiction
).
To start off with, we're going to finish up a restoration on an L-3 Grasshoper, then I'll help restore an A-4 (waiting on parts) along with a replica of the Hughes H-1 racer that was used in the movie "The Aviator".
AFAIK, there's a fly-in there, once a month on the 3rd sat. You can check it out here.
