I don't know if any of you know Charlie Bradberry but he was killed in a car accident this past weekend.
I met his dad at JNX after he flew his bonanza in for the race. Since the FBO had closed already I gave Mr. Bradberry and his friend a ride to their hotel. I was going to be nice and do it for free, incase I ever needed anyone to return the favor, but they were nice and gave me gas money. We were playing phone tag with his son Charlie and when we got to the hotel Charlie called me on my cell phone and invited me to the race (in Kenly I think) but I had already made plans for Saturday night.
Just from meeting his dad and talking with Charlie on the phone I could tell he had a lot going for him. He would have been the next NASCAR star.
