SA-16A landing in Havasu

I watched this plane come in the other day, pretty neat. He landed in the middle of the lake, then high speed taxi in the water over to the docks. It almost looked like he needed to keep the speed up or he would sink. but i guess that wasnt the case. The local fish wrap said he landed for repairs before continuing on.

btw - holy crap that water is beautiful....looks like Carribean waters or something!
