Ron was a class guy, and a great player. Too bad the elite writers couldn't recognize him when he was alive.

"Santo, Kessinger, Beckert, Banks, the infield 3rd to 1st, the battery Jenkins and Huntley." I grew up as a Northsider listing to Jack Brickhouse calling those games in the 60's and 70's.
