The winds were all over the place today on our afternoon flight from Bullhead City to San Jose. The VSI was pegged on the climb out from KIFP. Just northwest of Edwards AFB, we had a 65kt crosswind at 12.5.

Airmets for mod-severe turbulence and ATC saying the ride isn't good anywhere, made for a LONG flight home. :)
 
Thats never any fun. Especially when its really cold out. Hope the temp wasn't too bad for you.
 
Bo's don't oscillate in turbulence, do they? :)

That is what you do when it gets really bad. Turn up the music and tighten up the belts.
