Let's try this:

Your rental options are limited to the places below. Based on the type of flying you currently do the most of (whether it be training, travel, breakfast runs) which would you be more likely to rent from?

Place 1: Two C172s (round dial M models w/430) @ $65/hr dry

Place 2: Two C152s @ $62/hr dry + two C172s (round dial P w/430, round dial R w/KLN89) @ $94/hr dry

Place 3: DA20 (round dial w/430) @ $120/hr wet + DA40 (round dial w/530+430+AP) @ $145/hr wet

so long as place 3 reimburses me for fuel bought on the road, definitely place 3. it's cheaper than the other 2 with newer, faster aircraft.

94/hr dry for a 172m or 172p is pretty crazy high in my book at LEAST 40 dollars an hour is fuel alone
