The Remos G3 I often fly is down for maintenance for a "Carb Floats Service Bulletin". Anyone know what this means?

I haven't had a chance to question the club manager about this yet.

If its a ROTAX with BING carbs...

...certain floats are becoming fuel saturated and too heavy to work properly.

Two checks: the easiest is to pull them and weigh them.

If too heavy, the delay may be getting new floats fro ROTAX. Nothing against ROTAX - love the little engine - but their parts supply chain leaves a lot to be desired.

Here's how I tested:

The Service Instruction has 7gm for the pair as a maximum.
