Reformatting Garmin 530W Data Card

Sent my 530W off to Garmin to get screen fixed. Came back refurbished but completely zeroed out - Shop had to reconfigure all of the avionics ports. That is now complete, but it appears that Garmin wiped the nav data card clean - like sent it back unformatted. JDM app doesn't even recognize the card is in the reader now and I am unable to update.

Anyone been through this before? Is there a way to reformat the nav data card, or do I need to tell Garmin they owe me a new card?

If it was me, I would contact Garmin customer support and create a service ticket, that way they can track your issue. My guess is that the card will have to be reformatted as a nav card by garmin.

If it was any company other than Garmin, they would probably just send you a new card but, you know...
