So, tell a newbee...

What's the red board, the blue board, the pink board, the green board, the purple board, etc.?

Okay, so maybe I exaggerate the number of colors, but what the heck are you guys talking about?

Red Board is AOPA's web board, so-named because its principal color is Red; PoA (this fine place) is the Blue Board for reasons which should be fairly obvious.

The new board, the Purple Board, is (apparently) an amalgam, since mixing ed and blue... well, you know. It's at purpleboard.net (IIRC).

Make sense?

The green board is studentpilot.com. They have, in the past had an active aerobatic section that has become more quiet lately. I don't know anything about a pink board.

Different boards fill different needs. :) And, sometimes it's not always what you get out of a forum, but sometimes what you can give to a forum. :yinyang:
 
The OTHER blue board is jetcareers.com. But this blue board is much much better, of course.
