Someone locally has a Rans Coyote II with a Subaru engine and would rather have my Cherokee. I have the Cherokee but would rather have an LSA. Anyone have any experience and opinions regarding the Rans?

A new LSA like the Piper isn't in my budget. I could probably renew my medical but don't want to risk losing the LSA option. I only fly for fun and the mediical hassle is taking the fun out of it.

Haven't flow in the Coyote II but have flow in the S7 and am helping a freind build an S7. I like it. Rans is a good solid company with good designs.

Rans makes a good kit, haven't flown the 5, but I love the S7 and the 18 Stinger. I believe Chip G had a XL12 for awhile. The Subaru is a popular engine for the experimental builders and I am looking at a Kitfox IV with the Subaru.
