Which is all true but I figured someone here has flown in Topeka. I have to meet someone in the area and with load and airplane would prefer at least 4000 ft. That is fairly hard to come by in that area. It's 50 miles from where they are to any of them.

That said, I know nothing of fees. You may be able to get in-and-out of Forbes without a fee.

I wouldn't have even thought of it in Midwest until I went to Des Moines. They greet you with 20 bucks or about 7 buck gas. I couldn't get there minimum fuel in so it was 20 bucks. Was there maybe 5 minutes. Just long enough for someone to run out of terminal and jump in.
