Anyone have experience, comments, or anything insight over this type of software? Does it really help?

Best advice I got was:

LiveATC.net and listen to both local and distant airports, especially the more active Class D's and C's. KAPA is a good choice.

Bob Garner's book, "Say Again, Please..." lots of good help and tips in there..

Thank you, I just started reading Say it Again.

I bought the Comm1 VFR and IFR CD's. They really helped my "radio". I highly recommend them...I will second the recommendation on Bob Gardner's book...

If you buy the Comm1 stuff...spring for the headset....you will be glad you did.

They didn't have this kind of stuff when I was learning, but everyone who's tried Comm 1 tells me it's a great help.
